Cheerleading Squad: A Blessing in Disguise

Eat, Sleep and Think Football……

A hardcore football fan who lived in Kuala Lumpur in the early millennium should be familiar with this slogan. This slogan represents on how we feel, act and behave towards the most popular sport on the earth. However, I was a little bit surprised after reading one of the articles published in yahoo sport the other day. It highlights about the new additional supporting cast to one of the most popular clubs in Serie A, the Old lady, Juventus. Recently, Juventus has officially launched its a cheerleading squad to (obviously) improve team’s performance and probably, try to lure more supporters coming to the stadium. This is the first time I have ever seen a group of cheerleaders jumping around the field and gathering around the stand to cheer the home players in a football match. In my opinion, I think this could be a new positive breakthrough in the sport. I mean who doesn’t like to see some sexy ladies running around in skimpy outfits. So, I’m looking forward to see how this issue will turn out in the future and I will definitely eat, sleep and think EVEN MORE about football……..YNWA
