Nobody could match what Chicago Bulls had achieved in the 90s. The team led by five times regular season MVP and six times Finals MVP winner Michael Jordan dominated the entire league for 10 years while winning six NBA championships along the way. They even managed to set the best record in the NBA history, bagging 70 wins and only lost 10 matches in 1996-1997 season.
The Bulls hit the rock bottom right after Jordan had retired from the sport for good. They only managed few wins, lost their status as NBA elite team and never qualified for the playoff. They started to lose some fans around the globe.
However, Things started to swing positively when the Chicago Bulls acquired No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, Derrick Rose. Derrick Rose has been a revelation for Chicago Bulls and he has successfully transformed this lauzy team into a title contender in just two years of his involvement in NBA.
As a douche bag, I think Derrick Rose will be hell of a good player in years to come, and one day, I hope he'll topple Lebron James from his crown. I'm not going to say that he will exceed what Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant had done for their respective teams back in their heydays, but at least he has a chance to be an NBA all star and a legend on his own. He plays effectively and he is one of the most exciting players to watch in NBA.

Derrick Martell Rose was born on October 4, 1988 in Chicago, Illinois. Derrick grew up in a neighborhood called Englewood on the southwest side of Chicago. Derrick is the first point guard to be chosen #1 overall in 12 years since Allen Iverson was picked in 1996. Derrick was named the NBA’s rookie of the year, joining Michael Jordan and Elton Brand as the only Bulls to win the award.
