I went to school in an era where Mike "Iron " Tyson was a very dominant force in both heavyweight class division and the world of boxing. In fact, there was time where me and my friends watched one of his fights at the school hall during the teaching hour. Mike Tyson was like unofficial marketing figure for boxing industry and most of us loved to watch him in action. Now, Tyson is history, he had retired, lost some crucial and embarassing fights along the way and has his own show about pigeon. But now, we have someone else. A new idol who will stand side by side with any great all time boxers such as Muhammad Ali or Sugar Ray Leonard. His name is Manny Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao, is a Filipino professional boxer and politician. He is an eight-division world champion, the first boxer in history to win ten world titles in eight different weight divisions.[4] He is also the first boxer in history to win the lineal championship in four different weight classes.[5] He was named "Fighter of the Decade" for the 2000's by the Boxing Writers Association of America (BWAA). He is also a three-time The Ring "Fighter of the Year", winning the award in 2006, 2008, and 2009.[6]

Currently, Pacquiao is the WBC Super Welterweight World Champion and WBO Welterweight World Champion (Super Champion). He is also currently rated as the "number one" pound-for-pound best boxer in the world by several sporting news and boxing websites, including The Ring, Sports Illustrated, ESPN, NBC Sports, Yahoo! Sports, Sporting Life and About.com.

On May 7th, Manny Pacquiao will face Shane Mosley in a pay per view where the result isn’t really in doubt. Many boxing observers and fans see this fight as unfair and too easy for Pacquiao. What they want to see is the a fight of century between Manny Pacquiao and undefeated figure, Floyd Maywather Jr in the ring. However,this fight is high unlikely to happen due to some complicated issues.
